Alhambra, Generalife and Albaycin have been inspiring artists and visitors from all over the world for centuries. The sultans of the Nasrid dynasty created the Alhambra complex as a romantic fortress and palace. This marked the last of the Spanish Muslim Kingdom. As a result, you can still see Muslim influence around town. Visitors love the beautiful Generalife Gardens and the different kinds of flowers as well.

The modern city of Granada also supports a high student population from September to June. Albaycin, Sacromonte, San Jeronimo, Plaza Nueva, Bib-Rambla are also places to discover. Finally, the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevadas, visible year-round, add more beauty to this gorgeous place.
